Department of Nursing (International Nursing) offers specialties Nursing and Mid-wifery for nearly 4,000 students currently. The Department has trained over 100,000 qualified nursing professionals for the last decade, and many alumni actively serve the society as the key staff in various clinical settings. 

Aiming to train nursing talents with international competence, the Department is being engaged in a “3+1” Articulation Program with Sheffield Hallam University in UK.

The on-campus Practice Center, which is financed by provincial or national funds, consists of Pre-hospital Resuscitation Center, Simulation Ward, Maternal and Infant Center, Virtual Simulation Center and Simulation Operating Theater, etc. The Center plays a leading role in China for its sophisticated equipment, simulated hospital management and application of digital approaches.

Main courses are: Anatomy, Physiology, Psychology, Fundamental Diagnostics, Fundamental Nursing, Adult Nursing, Mental Care, Nursing Management, etc. Target employers are all forms of hospitals at various levels, sanatorium and other medical facilities.
