A Delegation from Sheffield Hallam University Visited Our College

On the morning of November 14, 2018, a delegation of two professionals from Sheffield Hallam University visited our college. Lv Junfeng, President of our college, Lin Qing, Vice Dean of the Department of Clinical Medicine Science, and Zhuang Qianling, Vice Dean of the Department of Nursing received the guests warmly.

First, the two sides held friendly talks. The British side introduced the study and life of 13 students of grade 2018 in this project. After intensive training in English language, all the students passed IELTS with good results and successfully entered the professional study for their Bachelor's Degree. They have also got accustomed to local customs gradually. In addition, detailed communication and exchanges were made on the arrangement of the graduation ceremony , teacher training and course connection next year.

Then, the delegation visited the School History Museum, The Department of Clinical Medicine Science, Department of Nursing and School Library successively, and highly evaluated the campus planning, personnel training, faculty building and information construction of our college.

Strengthening international cooperation with foreign universities and colleges is one of the important tasks of the 13th Five-Year Plan of our College. In September 2015, our college and Sheffield Hallam University officially launched the project of "Direct Train to Overseas Undergraduate education", which currently has 163 students. In March 2018, the project passed the British evaluation smoothly. The College will continue to promote the development of this project, steadily expand the scale, improve the training quality, actively create opportunities to meet the international standards, and further promote the width and depth of international cooperation and exchanges.
