The School of Nursing and the Foreign Affairs Office Held an Enrollment Promotion Meeting for Kyungwoon University of South Korea

In order to porvide more opportunites for nursing students to improve their academic qualifications and a broader platform for their development, the School of Nursing held an enrollment promotion meeting for Kyungwoon University of South Korea at 1:30 pm on April 22 in Room A101 of the Bo Xue Building. People attending the meeting included Song Jeong, Director of the International Cooperation Office of Kyungwoon University, Lin Jie, Director of Suzhou Office, Huang Mengmeng, Team Leader, Sheng Jiejin, Section Chief of the Foreign Affairs Office, SVHC, and some graduates from grade 2021 from the School of Nursing. Song Jeong gave a keynote speech in the meeting.

Kyungwoon University is located in in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It is a four-year private university with a history of over 20 years. It has been enrolling Chinese students since 2004 and has been certified by the Ministry of Education of China for its academic qualifications. At this enrollment briefing, Song Jeong gave a detailed introduction to the development, positioning, and disciplinary layout of the university, with a focus on the "3+1" project of transferring 3-year nursing majors to 1-year undergraduate programs. She also explained the enrollment schedule, corresponding scholarships, policy benefits, and career development after graduation. After the speech, Song Jeong and Lin Jie had a friendly interaction with the nursing students, answering students’ questions one by one.

With the inclusion of nursing majors in the national control distribution of majors, more and more students are aware of the importance of nursing, a major involving life and health. They have great demands for the improvement of academic qualifications. SHVC and the School of Nursing have made concerted efforts to deepen inter-school cooperation and take various measures to provide students with more choices and broader space for personal development.
