Delegates from Kyungwoon University of South Korea Visited SHVC

On April 22, the delegation led by Song Jeong, Director of the International Cooperation Office of Kyungwoon University, South Korea, visited Suzhou Health Vocational College. A meeting, presided by Ms. Sheng Jiejin, Section Chief of the Foreign Affairs Office, SVHC, was held in Room 3 of the Library on Shihu Campus.

Ms. Gu Shuqin, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of SVHC, delivered a speech, in which she extended a warm welcome to the delegation, and introduced the history, features of education, academic programs and SVHC's international exchanges and cooperation in recent years. She said that Kyungwoon University and SVHC have a high degree of consistency in terms of school-running concept and academic setting, and have a broad space for cooperation in programs such as visiting-scholars, exchange students and cooperative education. She considered this meeting a good start to further expand exchanges and cooperation with Kyungwoon University. Song Jeong introduced the basic information of Kyungwoon University, its advantageous majors and the prospects for the future development of the university, and expressed her good wish to establish friendly relations and explore joint projects with SHVC. At the meeting, the two sides signed a memorandum of the "China-Korea Cooperative Education Project", exchanged gifts and took a group photo.

The delegation then visited the nursing training center, spoke highly of the "student self-management" and high-simulation teaching environment of the training center, and expressed their hope that relevant cooperation can be carried out in the future in nursing practice teaching and the co-construction of international elderly health care bases. It is hoped that through joint efforts, the two sides will share resources, learn from each other, improve the level of education and research, and make new contributions to the healthcare industry in both China and South Korea.
